Telecommunications & Networks

A good network is the one nobody talks about.

Business networks and IP telephony for Algerian companies

When the network slows down, the whole company slows down with it. We design, deploy and monitor networks sized for your real load: cabling, Wi-Fi, site-to-site links, IP telephony and security.

  • A network sized from measurements
  • A backup link for critical sites
  • IP telephony that complies with the regulatory framework

Interactive demo

Run your network through a bad day

A head office, two remote sites, one operator. Cut the fibre, remove the backup, raise the load: the diagram and the state of the services react at once.

What your teams are experiencing

An uneventful day

Applications respond, calls are clear. All traffic goes through the main fibre.

Try: cut the main fibre.

Simplified diagram, for illustration. The meters show a level of load, not a speed. Real sizing depends on your sites and how you use them: it is decided after measurement.

What we see

The symptoms of a network that holds the company back

  1. Slowdowns nobody can explain

Applications crawl at certain hours, video calls drop. The internet gets the blame, though nobody has ever measured.

  2. A network built up piece by piece

A switch here, a Wi-Fi access point there, cables with no labels. Nobody has the diagram, and every fault is hunted down blind.

  3. One link, so one point of failure

One outage on the main link and the site is cut off: no email, no ERP, no telephone.

  4. IP telephony deployed without checking the rules

Voice over IP is regulated in Algeria. An installation set up without going through an authorised operator exposes the company.

Our method

Our design and deployment method

We measure before we size, and we document what we install.

  1. 1Survey and measurementsThe state of the cabling, the equipment, the Wi-Fi coverage and the real speeds at each site, at peak hours.
  2. 2Architecture designNetwork segmentation, link sizing, a backup link for critical sites, a choice of equipment suited to your size.
  3. 3Deployment and acceptance testingCopper and fibre cabling, equipment configuration, firewall, Wi-Fi, IP telephony through an authorised operator. Every point is tested before going into service.
  4. 4Monitoring and documentationMonitoring set up, diagrams and configurations handed over, your team trained in day-to-day operation.

Deliverables

What you receive

  • A measurement report and a diagram of the existing network
  • An architecture file: addressing plan, segmentation, links, equipment
  • A tested installation, with its acceptance reports
  • Monitoring that raises the alert before users complain
  • The diagrams, configurations and logins, handed over to your team

Who it is for

This service is for you if

  • You are moving into new premises or opening a site
  • Your teams complain of regular slowdowns or outages
  • You want to connect several sites and share the same applications
  • You are replacing your telephone switchboard and considering IP telephony

Why Gnosis

What you get by working with us

Advice independent of vendors

We are not tied to any software vendor or hardware manufacturer. The recommendation starts from your need, not from a catalogue.

A written scope before any commitment

Scope, priorities, budget and schedule are set down in writing before the first day of implementation.

Local delivery, by a team in Algiers

A team based in Algiers that knows the country's regulatory, human and infrastructure constraints.

Straight talk on what is feasible

If a project does not have the means to succeed, we say so before it starts.

Frequently asked questions

What we are asked before we start

Is IP telephony permitted in Algeria?

It is regulated by the ARPCE. We deploy it through licensed operators, such as Algérie Télécom, Mobilis, Djezzy or Ooredoo, and we check the framework that applies to your project at the scoping stage.

Do we have to recable everything to improve the network?

Rarely. The survey often shows that a few points limit the whole: a saturated switch, faulty cabling on one floor, badly placed Wi-Fi access points. We deal with those points before considering an overhaul.

How do you connect several sites to each other?

Several solutions exist depending on the speeds, the distances and the operators' offers in each area: a dedicated link, a VPN over the internet, or a combination of the two with automatic failover. The choice is made after measuring the real needs.

Do you provide maintenance after installation?

We set up monitoring and train your team. Ongoing follow-up is possible, and is then covered by a written commitment, separate from the installation project.
